Itinerary
There are two options for your tour: Sightseeing Tour of Modern Dubai with Shopping or Sightseeing Tour of Modern Dubai with 'Ultimate Tea'.
Sightseeing Tour of Modern Dubai with Shopping
You will be picked up from your hotel, Dubai, Sharjah or Ajman, in an air-conditioned vehicle and will set off on your excursion, accompanied by your Guide (English/ German/ Spanish-speaking). Remember to specify your preferred language for the guide in advance as there are some very interesting stories about the city.
The superb infrastructure of Dubai makes a tour a very comfortable and easy experience. You will be astounded by the lavish environment of this futuristic place. With a soaring skyline and fabulously opulent hotels, Dubai is currently the fastest growing city in the world.
Leaving Festival City mid-morning, we will start with the World's Tallest Building "Burj Khalifa" (828 m/2,717 ft), where you will have the opportunity to experience "At the Top" (the World's Highest Observatory at 124th deck). Here special telescopes provide virtual time-travel visions of the scenes beyond and below. You’ll see close-up real-time views as well as the past and the future, by day and by night. You can also walk the entire perimeter for the most comprehensive views. If you wish, adventure outside onto the open-air terrace to enjoy another perspective of the sweeping views below.
We will then drive for about 30 minutes, passing the Sheik Mohammed Palace, and will see the luxurious Burj Dubai.
You then have a gentle 30-minute stroll in Bait Al Bahar, part of the luxury Jumeirah Beach Resort complex, before continuing on to the magnificent Aquarium and discovery center at one of the world’s ultimate shopping malls, the Dubai Mall.
You will spend about an hour at the Aquarium and then drive on to the Dubai Marina for a 30-minute walk along the waterfront to soak up the atmosphere of this stylish, expensive business and leisure environment.
After that you will head off to the celebrated man-made Jumeirah Palm Island for a photo-stop in front of one of the world’s most opulent hotels, the Atlantis Hotel.
And that's not all! You then get the chance to shop at a really authentic Arab souk at Madinat Jumeirah.
Souk Madinat Jumeirah is a colorful marketplace with more than 75 shops and a vibrant atmosphere. The area has numerous air-conditioned walkways that link one shop to the other.
At the end of your thoroughly enjoyable trip, you will be dropped back at your hotel in Dubai, Sharjah or Ajman.
Sightseeing Tour of Modern Dubai with 'Ultimate Tea'.
This is the same as the option above except that, instead of visiting the souk at Madinat Jumeirah, you will enjoy an indulgent seven-course afternoon tea at the seven-star Burj Al Arab hotel.
Your 'Ultimate Tea' offers a choice of over 50 loose-leaf teas, and a selection of premium coffees. The seven mouthwatering courses are as follows:
• Begin with a glass of fine Champagne or a sparkling juice, plus a selection of delicate finger sandwiches
• Selection of succulent cuts of meat or fish
• A fresh sorbet to cleanse the palate
• The essence of afternoon tea – warm scones with homemade fruit jams and lashings of clotted cream
• Mixed berry basket with fresh cream, dusted with icing sugar
• Exquisite selection of French pastries
• A variety of hand-crafted petit fours is the finale
At the end of your thoroughly enjoyable sightseeing and gastronomic excursion, you will be dropped back at your hotel in Dubai, Sharjah or Ajman.
