Night Out In Marrakech: Fantasia Dinner and Moroccan Folklore - Aperçu

Enliven your stay in Morocco with this wonderful night out in Marrakech that combines an authentic dinner with traditional Moroccan folklore.

The Fantasia dinner takes place at the spectacular Chez Ali restaurant and is a true Arabian Nights’ experience. Under the massive tents in the Marrakech palm grove, waiters and waitresses dressed in their own tribal costumes also double as entertainers. As the evening progresses, all through the dinner, various folklore troupes pass through the tents dancing, singing and generally animating the evening.

The highlight of the evening is the Fantasia, based on an ancient war ceremony where tribesmen and women form different areas of the country present spectacular horse and rifle shows.

Feast on traditional Moroccan food such as couscous and Mechoui while watching the magnificent spectacle.

Night Out In Marrakech: Fantasia Dinner and Moroccan Folklore - Itinéraire


1930h (07:30pm), During the month of Ramadan 2000 (08:00pm): You will be picked up from your centrally located hotel in Marrakech for this memorable evening of Moroccan dinner and folklore show. Hotel pick-up is not possible at Riads in the Medina. If your hotel is not a pick-up location, please assemble at the central starting point at Holidays Services Agency in Marrakech, Complex Kawkab Center, Rue Imam Chafaï, Jnan El Harti, Guéliz.

Set out in an air-conditioned bus with your English speakin guide (French Assistance) for this evening tour.

Your Fantasia dinner takes place at the spectacular ‘Chez Ali’ restaurant where an Arabian Nights-like evening has been specially recreated for your pleasure.

As the evening progresses, musicians, singers and dancers entertain in typical Moroccan style.

As you watch the performance, enjoy a sumptuous meal of authentic Moroccan food, comprising of harrira soup, Mechoui (steamed lamb meat), Couscous with fresh vegetables, and a platter of fresh fruit served to you under traditional Caidal tents. Round off a delicious meal with tea and Moroccan pastries.

This impressive evening comes to a fitting finale with the Fantasia show. Watch acrobats on Arabian horses firing rifles and demonstrating traditional forms of military combat. Then follows horseback acrobatics, a belly dance and suddenly up in the night sky a Sultan and his favorite fly to the stars on their magic carpet, as the evening comes to its end.

2330h (11:30pm): Your tour ends with a drop-off at your hotel or the closest drop-off point in Marrakech.
