You will be picked up from your hotel and taken for an exciting hot air balloon flight over the Canterbury Plains in Christchurch.

Enjoy a hands-on experience as you help the flight crew set up the hot air balloon.

Soar above the vast expanse of the Canterbury Plains. There is no other place in the world where it is possible to fly from the centre of the city, with the sun rising out of the ocean, towards snow-capped mountains.

After landing, enjoy a celebratory glass of chilled champagne with the crew and receive a flight certificate.

At the end of the tour, you will be dropped back at your hotel.

Dos & Don'ts
It is warm in the balloon so you should dress as if you were going for a walk outside in the city. It is advisable that you wear walking boots or similar, and not high heels. Practical outdoor footwear for frosty or damp conditions is ideal. Bring a hat or cap and sunglasses.

If your tour status is On Request we will not charge your card until we have been able to confirm your booking with our supplier.  If your tour status is bookable online, your card will be charged when you click confirm and pay.Please note that you don't have to pay anything at the destination.
What happens after you book
Please print the electronic voucher sent to you and give them to the operator on the day of the activity.
