Royal Palaces of Denmark and Hamlet’s Castle Tour - Itinerary


The tour starts from the City Hall Square in front of the Palace Hotel in Copenhagen. Travelling in a coach and listening to audio commentary, you will visit:

• Frederiksborg Castle: It is the largest Renaissance palace in Scandinavia and now The Museum of National History.

• Kronborg Castle: A brief photostop at this UNESCO World Heritage Site which is famous as ‘Hamlet’s Castle’. Shakespeare is said to have based Elsinore, home of Prince Hamlet in his play,Hamlet inspired by this castle.

• Fredensborg Palace: It is the spring and autumn residence of the Royal Family. Stop here briefly to take pictures.

The tour ends at the City Hall Square.
