Oslo Tour - Kon-Tiki Museum, Vigeland Sculpture Park - Itinerary


For this city tour, you will travel in a coach and will be accompanied by a guide. The tour starts from pier 3 in front of the Oslo City Hall and takes you to the following landmarks:

• Vigeland Sculpture Park: It was created by sculptor Gustav Vigeland. One of the main attractions of the park is The Monolith, a column over 14 metres high into which entwined human bodies are sculpted.

• Holmenkollen Ski Jump: Admire the panoramic views from the top of the ski jump and visit the world’s oldest ski museum.

• Vikingships: See one of the few remaining preserved Viking Ships.

• Kon-Tiki Museum: The museum houses a wide range of boats and artifacts, which relate to scientist Thor-Heyerdahl’s 1947 expedition across the Pacific Ocean.

Following your tour of the city centre, board a boat and sail along the Fjord, past a maze of green islands, dotted with picturesque summer houses. En route see the Akerhus Fortress which was used to protect Oslo from attacks from sea. Sail through the bustling Oslo harbour where modern cruise ships sail alongside traditional fishing boats. The area is known for its stunning beauty, so be sure to bring your camera along.
