Itinerary
Your tour of the Kremlin and Red Sqaure will visit:
• Lenin's Mausoleum: This monumental granite structure is the final resting place of Vladimir Lenin.
• The Saviour’s (Spasskaya) Tower: The Gothic-turreted clock tower stands on the north-eastern side of the Kremlin. The gate of the Spasskaya Tower has been the official entrance to the Kremlin for centuries.
• State Historical Museum: A museum of Russian history with exhibits dating back to prehistoric tribes.
• St Basil’s Cathedral: Also known as the Cathedral of the Intercession, this is one of Russia’s most recognised monuments. It is a multi-tented church that features distinctive onion domes and redbrick towers.
• Kazan Cathedral: A Russian Orthodox church in Red Square. The current building is a reconstruction of the original church, which was destroyed at the direction of then Premier of the Soviet Union, Joseph Stalin in 1936.
• The Kremlin Armoury : It is one of the oldest museums of Moscow. The museum has a collection of precious items which belonged to the Tsar's.
• Diamond Fund: It is a unique collection of gems, jewellery and natural nuggets, stored and exhibited in the Moscow Kremlin.
