Floating Temple and Ulun Danu Tour - Overview

Take a trip to Ulun Danu, an amazing eleven-tier thatched roof Buddhist temple dedicated to Dewi Danau, the Goddess of water. You will find beautifully landscaped gardens with an abundance of flowering plants around the temple. In the sacred monkey forest of Alas Kedaton, you will come across huge bats hanging low from the branches and numerous monkeys guarding a sacred temple in the region.

Don’t miss out a visit to the floating Tanah Lot temple built on a volcanic out-crop on Bali’s rugged west coast. The temple is believed to be guarded by large sea snakes that reside in caves below the waterline. With a trip to the picturesque floating temple, the attractive fruit and flower market of Candi Kuning and other interesting sites, your Indonesian excursion will be truly memorable!

Floating Temple and Ulun Danu Tour - Itinerary


You will be picked up in an air conditioned coach at 0800h from your hotel in Bali and taken on a private guided tour of the highland of Bedugul . You will visit the following places:

• Candi Kuning Market . It is a colourful fruit and flower market.
• Ulun Danu Temple . It is a beautiful 17th century temple on the shore of lake Beratan.
• Monkey forest of Alas Kedaton
• Tanah Lot temple . Enjoy a spectacular sunset from the famous Tanah Lot temple built on a volcanic out-crop on Bali’s rugged west coast.

After the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Bali.

If your tour status is On Request we will not charge your card until we have been able to confirm your booking with our supplier.  If your tour status is bookable online, your card will be charged when you click confirm and pay.Please note that you don't have to pay anything at the destination.
What happens after you book
Please print the electronic voucher sent to you and give them to the operator on the day of the activity.
The voucher also includes the operator's complete contact details, and local telephone numbers at the destination. They will happily answer any logistical questions you have.
