New York Helicopter Tour – Skyline and Harbor - Itinerary


There is no hotel pick-up. Your New York helicopter tour will depart from Downtown Manhattan Heliport, Pier 6 & The East River. Please make your own arrangements to reach here. Your militarily trained pilot will take you on a 15 to 17 minute flight over Manhattan. Enjoy an English narration by the pilot through the headset.

You’ll soar over the following landmarks:

Yankee Stadium: The Yankee Stadium has been around since the early 1920s. It’s the home of major league baseball team The Yankees. Since its opening it has remained a popular multi-sports venue.

Grant's Tomb: Grant's Tomb is a mausoleum holding the bodies of Ulysses S. Grant, the 18th President of the United States, and his wife, Julia Dent Grant.

Cathedral of St. John the Divine: Cathedral of St. John the Divine’s beautiful facade is visible from the air. It’s beautiful architecture is a sight for sore eyes among the many high rises in New York.

George Washington Bridge: George Washington Bridge is a large, double-decked suspension bridge that crosses the Hudson River.

Statue of Liberty: The Statue of Liberty is a symbol of independence for many. She stands on Ellis Island overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. “Lady Liberty” stands at 151 feet tall upon her pedestal.

New York Harbor:New York Harbor is an integral part of New York City. It is an expansive area comprising of the New York Bay and an array of rivers and channels all destined for the Atlantic.

Verrazano Bridge: Verrazano Bridge crosses The Narrows at. It was named after Giovanni da Verrazzano, the first known European navigator to enter the New York Harbor and the Hudson River, while crossing The Narrows. It is clearly visible by air.

New York Financial District: The New York Financial District is located on the southern-most tip of Manhattan Island. It is here that the famed Wall Street lies.

Ground Zero: Ground Zero is the space that remains at the site of the September 11, 2001 attacks on the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center in New York City. The World Trade Center is currently being rebuilt.

Empire State Building: The Empire State Building was completed in 1931. It is approximately 1,472 feet tall. There are two observation decks that are forever teeming with the masses.

Chrysler and Met Life Buildings: Chrysler and Met Life Buildings are two of the tallest structures in Manhattan. You’ll get a perfect view of these giants on your tour!

Central Park: With approximately 840 acres of green space, Central Park is an oasis in the concrete desert of New York City. You’ll have a spectacular view of it as you fly over Manhattan.

Your tour ends at the Downtown Manhattan Heliport, Pier 6 & The East River, where you will be dropped off.

There are situations when you cannot be accommodated at the requested time of your choice and you might have to wait for the next flight departure which can be between 30-45 mins. To avoid this it is mandatory for the customers to contact the activity operator 24 hrs prior to the tour to reconfirm your start time of the tour.
All guests must have a valid photo ID, and are required to check in all handbags and carry-on baggage and walk through a metal detector
Heliport Charges USD $27.50 per person to be paid at the heliport You will be required to undergo a weigh in, and must notify the company if the weight of anyone traveling exceeds 250lbs
Seating is based on a 4 or 6 passenger helicopters, depending on what is available on the day of your tour
Due to the unpredictable nature of our high volume days, passenger wait times may vary
Helicopter seating is determined by weight, balance and size, to ensure our passengers utmost safety
We reserve the right to upgrade alter or terminate any or all of the flights due to security, weather or acts of God

How to book

A confirmation voucher for your activity will appear on your screen and a copy will be sent to your mailbox.
You can easily change your dates,number of travelers and tour options during and after the booking process.
If your tour status is On Request we will not charge your card until we have been able to confirm your booking with our supplier.  If your tour status is bookable online, your card will be charged when you click confirm and pay.Please note that you don't have to pay anything at the destination.
What happens after you book
Please print the electronic voucher sent to you and give them to the operator on the day of the activity.
The voucher also includes the operator's complete contact details, and local telephone numbers at the destination. They will happily answer any logistical questions you have.
