Travel along the southern coastline to Bray for a photo stop before continuing deep into the heart of Wicklow’s hilly countryside.

Accompanied by a guide and travelling in a coach, drive into the heart of Wicklow’s hilly countryside and visit the Powerscourt Estate that has existed since 1300 and changed Anglo-Norman hands a few times before it was bought by Richard Wingfield, the newly appointed Marshall of Ireland. Nestled in the heart of Wicklow’s hilly countryside, the Estate opens up a panorama of sprawling landscaped gardens, sweeping terraces, ornamental lakes, secret hollows, trails and walled enclosures, replete with trees and shrubs, which once belonged to Richard Wingfield, Marshall of Ireland.

You’ll see ruins of a 6th century monastic settlement founded the by a young monk named Kevin. Glendalough is the site of a 10th century Round Tower, considered one of the best preserved in Ireland.
