    The tour starts from Cadman's Cottage, 110 George Street North, The Rocks, Sydney. This is opposite the Overseas Passenger Terminal at West Circular Quay, The Rocks. The easiest way to get to The Rocks is by train to Circular Quay. Services by Sydney Buses and Sydney Ferries also deliver passengers to Circular Quay as it is the transport hub for the northern area of the Central Business District. State Transit's Transport Infoline can help you plan your trip to The Rocks. (Call 131500 or visit www.131500.com)
    Please report at the meeting point 15 minutes before the start time. This is mandatory to allow time for pre-departure briefing.

The Rocks Historical Pub Tour – Sydney is a fun way to spend an evening and learn some fascinating history. Meet your guide at Cadman's Cottage from where you will set off with your local guide for a thoroughly entertaining walk (approximately 1 km) through the winding lanes and cobblestone alleys of The Rocks district.

The site of Sydney's first European settlement in 1788, the Rocks has evolved unrecognizably from its convict beginnings. Once the home of 'shanghaied' sailors, whalers and many dubious characters, The Rocks is now one of the city's last remaining historic areas and its narrow streets are best explored on foot.

Leaving picturesque Cadman's Cottage, Sydney's oldest house, wind through the convict-built lanes, stopping off at three atmospheric pubs along the way. You will hear stories of the locals, past and present, and visit the oldest pub in Sydney, which now serves the most innovative ales.

The tour price includes one alcoholic beverage (285ml or 10oz of beer or glass of house wine), or a soft drink, in each of three pubs.

Find a favorite pub to return to after the walk ends, and use one of the dining vouchers included with the tour to finish the evening with a tasty meal at a nearby restaurant.

Your walking tour ends at the last of the three pubs. You can then make arrangements to spend longer at The Rocks or return to your accommodation at your own convenience.

The activity operator supports the responsible service of alcohol and reserves the right to remove any intoxicated guest from the tour.
The tour goes ahead in all weather conditions.
