If Athens is exciting by day, it is even more bewitching at night. This tour centres around the port area of Athens, which truly comes to life at night. It is only when darkness falls that one can enjoy the spectacular views of the shimmering Aegean Sea and see the flurry of activity in the narrow streets of the harbors. The tranquil harbor of Mikrolimano is famous for the traditional ouzo, Greece’s national drink.

Drive to the main Greek port of Piraeus, passing by the most important points of the city. Central Athens is dotted with charming Greek taverns. A delicious dinner in a typical Greek tavern to the accompaniment of some folk dance and music, brings an enjoyable evening to an end.

Night Sightseeing Tour of Athens - Itinerary


An English-speaking guide will accompany you on this tour.

Drive to the Greek port of Piraeus. En route pass the port of Zeas, where you can marvel at the luxury yachts which are docked there.

Stop at the picturesque small harbour of Mikrolimano, lined with cafes, restaurants and bars. Enjoy a drink of ouzo served with Greek appetizers (payable direct).

At Piraeus, you will enjoy spectacular views of the shimmering Aegean Sea and witness the hustle and bustle of the narrow streets of the harbour.

Drive along the principal avenues and passing by the Temple of Olympian Zeus, the National Garden, the Parliament, and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, the Catholic Cathedral, the Academy, the University, the National Library and the Old Parliament.

Arrive in Plaka, the oldest section in Athens lined with restaurants, tourist shops, and cafes. Take a short walk through this old and unique quarter of Athens to one of the popular taverns for dinner to the accompaniment of live bouzouki music and Greek folk dances.

At the end of the tour you will be dropped back at your hotel/the starting point in Athens.

What happens after you book
