Hippy Market and Water Park Excursion in Ibiza - Overview

The Hippy Market in Ibiza opened in the 1950s when the island was a haven for artists and free spirits who came here from all corners of the world. One of the legacies of this time, the market, started in Punta Arabi, Es Cana, where these artists sold their wares.

The market has an enormous variety of goods to choose from: the most exotic batik wraps and clothing, to tailor-made leather moccasins and a tantalising variety of east-Asian silver jewellery and trinkets. Some grey-haired hippies can still be seen!

The Aguamar Water Slide Park is the largest water park on the island and a great place to relax with the family.

Hippy Market and Water Park Excursion in Ibiza - Itinerary




The tour starts from the bus stop at the "Egg" monument in San Antonio. The buses depart from 0945h (09:45 am) onwards. You may choose the time that is convenient for you. An English-speaking guide will accompany you on this tour.

You will first visit, what is known today as the Hippy Market, which is situated in Es Cana. The market is held every Wednesday (from May - September) on the east coast of the island where there are plenty of different stalls selling anything to everything - from jewellery to leather goods.

You have about two hours to wander around and shop here at your own pace.

In the afternoon you will visit the Aguamar Water Slide Park. It is the largest water park on the island. This amazing water park in Playa den Bossa is a fun day for all the family. There are many pools to splash around in and some very long, fast and curvy slides and other rides too.

The tour ends at the original departure point.
