This biking tour takes you across the Chao Praya River to the green side of Bangkok, Bangkok Noi.

Pedal languorously through this agricultural heartland, where the fields burst with fresh produce and tiny communities still live life by the old ways.

A high quality mountain bike and a knowledgeable local guide make for an enjoyable and illuminating adventure through the Thai countryside.

Bangkok Bike Tour - Itinerary




There is no hotel pick-up. Please make your way to the lobby of the Viengtai Hotel, 42 Rambutri Rd, Banglamphu.

This small group tour has a maximum of 12 passengers per tour.

This Biking tour of rural Bangkok is a very gentle 20-km ride along country roads and is suitable for anyone who can ride a bike. You’ll be accompanied by an English-speaking cycle guide, who will provide insight into the customs, history, and culture of the area at each stop. High quality mountain bikes are used on this trip and helmets are included.

After a short bike fitting and briefing, start your ride near Khao San Road in Banglamphu. Stay off Bangkok’s chocked thoroughfares, riding instead on small lanes that skirt the Chao Praya River.

Cross the well known Rama VIII Bridge and whizz past a local community famous for it's addictive mixture of betel nut, lime and a mulberry leaf. Pass the King's Royal Barges and follow the worn out path along the Bangkok Noi Canal leading to Wat Arun.

Renowned for it's fine architectural pattern and historical significance Wat Arun also forms a hub of multicultural religions housing Buddhist Temples, Portuguese Churches and Mosques. Head back from Wat Arun across the Chao Praya River crossing the Memorial Bridge to Pranakorn. The Memorial Bridge constructed in 1929 marks the 150th anniversary of Bangkok city.

Set out to pay your respects at another temple, Wat Suthat renowned for housing the largest sitiing Buddha image. Move on to the final stop of the day to Sao Ching Cha. This giant swing epitomises the movement of God Shiva, and was reserved for performances at grand ceremonies.

At the end of the tour you can explore the area on your own or your guide will help you to take a taxi back to your hotel.

How to book

Once you are happy with the price,proceed to checkout to our secure payment page.  Enter your details and click on confirm and pay.
A confirmation voucher for your activity will appear on your screen and a copy will be sent to your mailbox.
You can easily change your dates,number of travelers and tour options during and after the booking process.
If your tour status is On Request we will not charge your card until we have been able to confirm your booking with our supplier.  If your tour status is bookable online, your card will be charged when you click confirm and pay.Please note that you don't have to pay anything at the destination.
What happens after you book
Please print the electronic voucher sent to you and give them to the operator on the day of the activity.
The voucher also includes the operator's complete contact details, and local telephone numbers at the destination. They will happily answer any logistical questions you have.

How to Cancel
