Walk around the Agora, a massive meeting place where citizens would gather to hear the town crier belt out the commands of the ruling council.

Explore the ghostly ruins of the Apollo Temple, where you can almost imagine the grandeur that has passed away from Corinth.

Drive through the rolling vineyards of Nemea and stop at a famous winery. Learn the local techniques of viticulture and winemaking, refined over millennia, and sip some of Greece’s most legendary wines.

There is no hotel pick-up. Please make your way to the Key Tours Terminal 4 in Athens to meet your air-conditioned coach and licensed English-speaking tour guide.

Take off down the harbor-lined national highway and pause for a photo opportunity at a viewpoint overlooking the Corinth Canal, which connects the Ionian and Aegean seas.

Continue onwards to Ancient Corinth, where Saint Paul lived and preached, and sat to pen two of his time-honored epistles.

This city of antiquity was one of the most important commercial centers of ancient Greece, riving Athens and Thebes in wealth and influence.

Gather in the Agora, where Corinthian citizens once assembled to hear the decrees of the ruling council or to ship off for war.

Visit the ruins of the Apollo Temple, one of the most outstanding monuments of the pre-Roman period, where seven towering Doric columns are a testament to a once-grand structure.

Drive to one of the famous vineries of Nemea, famous for its agiorghitiko grape that grows nowhere else on earth. Greece was among the first countries in the world to establish a tradition of viticulture, and wine has long been adored, lauded, and incanted in the name of Dionysus.

Abiding by tradition but invigorated by modern technology, Greek vintners offer a wide variety of exquisite wines. Tour the state-of-the-art facilities in Nemea, learning the art and science of turning grapes into wine, and explore the underground cellars populated with more than 1,000 French oak barrels.

Round out the tour with a tasting of the area’s best wines and a light snack.

There is no hotel drop-off. You will be returned to Key Tours Terminal 4 at tour’s end.
